 How to Talk to Guys

Let’s face it, guys are a mystery. They spend more time staring at the TV or at your chest than actually listening to anything you have to say. UNLESS you know exactly how to talk to them. Now I’m no expert on the subject but after interrogating some friends about what a guy wants to hear, this is what I found out.

Talk about something they’re interested in.

One of my friends told me that if a girl could talk sports with him and actually contribute something to the conversation he would marry her. I’m not exactly the biggest sports fan, but through Dolce’s recent obsession with sports and hanging out at wing night with the guys I’ve picked up on a few things. You don’t have to learn everything about it, but pick up on a few important phrases to say besides “omgggg I like loveee football because of their tight pants!”

So learn a few things to say. If you show interest in something he’s interested in, maybe he’ll return the favor and actually agree to watch that chick flick with you.

How to compliment a guy

Anyone ever get the compliment “you’re beautiful” and have no idea what to say back?  Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t really know how to compliment a guy back. Most girls prefer being called pretty or beautiful as opposed to being called hot or sexy. When looking for a relationship no one wants to be called “sexy,” it’s better to be pretty or gorgeous because it shows they mean it. Hell we’ll even take “cute” half the time. But what about guys? We think that they don’t need to be complimented, but who doesn’t like a nice ego boost?

So what’s better to call a guy? Handsome? Bangable? Really ridiculously good-looking?

The right answer: tell them they look really good. 

Now naturally everyone is different but from my sources I found out that really good-looking is better than good-looking, and good-looking is better than hot. I’m assuming this is similar to why girls like pretty as compared to hot.

DO NOT SAY THEY LOOK CUTE! That is a big no-no. That puppy you’re playing with in the pet store is cute, not the guy you're with.

Also telling guys that they smell nice, are smart or funny helps. Basically think about some of the things you want to hear from guys and try it out on them, it can’t hurt.

Some helpful hints on how to get a dick pic

What is with a guys and their obsession with naked pics!? Obviously you don’t need me to tell you the answer to that, but I've also figured out that it’s a challenge. Which is why I do it right back to them. I don’t really want a picture of their man business, but its fun to try and get it out of them…and then text it to all of your friends to show them what you got. You know they do the same thing!

So when a guy asks you for one, ask for one right back. Besides the fact that they might be flattered that you are asking for one, there’s a chance that they’re proud to show it off.

When trying to get a picture, you sometimes have to get a little raunchy. Use your imagination! Tell him what you want to do to him, how bad you miss him/want to see him, etc.

Dolce once tried playing innocent and it worked (never really happened for me). She was able to get a series of pictures, each one of the guy with a little less clothes on.

Once again, it depends on the guy. You know him better than we do, which means you probably know what he likes. Figure it out, and don’t be afraid to try some new things to get what you want.

Moral of the Story

So take my advice or leave it. This is what I found out. Just remember that not everyone is the same and once you get to know a guy better you’ll find out what he likes and doesn’t like, just as I’m sure you’ll all tell them what you like and don’t like.
